The OIDUR (International Observatory of Human Rights and Research) was born in 2019 from the consolidated agreement between Giorgia Butera (Author, Speaker at the United Nations and Expert in Cultural Diplomacy) and Sara Baresi (Education Counselor, Human Rights Activist and Speaker at the United Nations).
Both, committed against the Human Trafficking and in the defense and protection of International Human Rights. They follow up the UN Commission Human Rights, which issued Directive A/ARES/53/144 to enshrine and mandate anyone to stand as a defender.
And to be vigilant so that no abuses or violations of any kind are committed.
The OIDUR is chaired by Giorgia Butera; the Director General and President of the Scientific Committee is Sara Baresi.
The Organization is independent of Governments, public institutions, political parties or movements, religious denominations and other organizations of whatever nature, and operates in the exclusive pursuit of its own ends. It can collaborate with any reality or natural person, requiring their support.
There are two objectives:
1) Support, defend, and protect human rights in every part of the world;
2) Promote research and training activities. The Organization can produce photographic reports, dossiers, videos, books, exhibitions, conferences, social and economic analyses, monitoring, and field analyses. And anything else that can be useful to knowledge of the facts. The results of the surveys and research will be published in order to disseminate knowledge.
The OIDUR aims to be a Listening, Support, and Guidance Desk for anyone who, finding themselves in difficult situations, requires socio-psychological and/or legal assistance.
